Our Story
Our family began operating the Relay Station Restaurant in September 1985. (Hence our menu boasts of the world’s only 85 oz steak, cooked to perfection.) Since then, we have expanded the operation to include catering services and complete wedding services.
We are famous for our steaks and homemade desserts. But, some customers would argue that our catfish is our real customer draw. Attention to detail is what makes us special, like our hand-battered chicken fried steak, our cut-to-order homemade onion rings, or our hand-cut and peeled potatoes that make up our real, not powdered mashed potato dish. Garden fresh is important to us and our customers appreciate the taste difference.
